UEFA nations league
The UEFA Nations League is a competition between the men's national teams of the UEFA member associations. The first tournament is planned for 2018, after the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The winner will be announced in June 2019. The competition will be replacement of currently played on the FIFA Calendar international friendly matches.
The draw for the league took place in Lausanne, Switzerland on 24.04.2018.
The league 55 member teams were divided in 4 "leagues".
In League A there are 12 teams , 12 teams in League B, 15 in League C and 16 teams in League D.
The teams with the highest rank are in League A. The top 5 positions are for the teams of Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Spain and France.
The League phase will start on 06.09.2018 and will end on 20.11.2018.
First match in Group 1 will be played on 6 September 2018, in Group 2 on 8 September 2018. in Group C on 7 September 2018 and in Group 4 on 8 September 2018.
