Mercedes reserve driver Mick Schumacher will compete in the Race of Champions. In the team competition, Schumacher will become a teammate of Sebastian Vettel, and together they will represent Germany.


Schumacher made his debut in the Race of Champions in 2019 and, together with Vettel, reached the final prediction by goals/highlights from uefa nations league of the team competition on the first try. Schumacher and Vettel also competed together in the Race of Champions in 2022, when the competition was held in Sweden.


Previous additions to the 2023 Race of Champions lineup include Mika Hakkinen, Valtteri Bottas, David Coulthard, five-time World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson, rally drivers Petter and Oliver Solbeg, and three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick, Le Mans legend Tom Christensen and severalother pilots. The Race of Champions will take place in Sweden on 28 and 29 January.


Competitions will be held less than 100 km from the Arctic Circle.
