The founder of the Formula 1 team, Peter Sauber, spoke about the departure of Frederic Vasseur to Ferrari.


Apparently, Vasser will leave Sauber (now acting as Alfa Romeo) and become the head of the Scuderia. An official announcement is expected before the end of December.


Sauber said whether Wasser`s move surprises him.

The Swiss publication Blick suggests that Vasseur`s place could be taken by the team`s sports director Beth Zehnder. Sauber agreed that Zehnder was a Formula 1 phenomenon.
